UBP President and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel continues to meet and embrace the people and parties. In his speech in Değirmenlik, Üstel said, “We will continue on the road until 2027 with our great strength, our love of serving our people will not end’.

In addition to Üstel, Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, Nicosia MPs Ahmet Savaşan and Faiz Sucuoglu with the party Secretary General Oguzhan Hasipoglu Gönyeli Alayköy Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu also attended.
In his speech at the big meeting, Üstel said that the interest they received in every visit and every event held before the congress was a sign of their successful work.
Üstel said, “Since the day we came to power, hand in hand and arm in arm with our 24 deputies, we have tirelessly implemented whatever law or reform our country needs.”.

“All we care about is our people and the TRNC,” said Üstel, “We came to office with the love of serving our people. We are taking firm steps towards serving our people by completing the projects needed in our country one by one.”.
Speaking about the New Ercan Airport, which has a great contribution to the Değirmenlik region, Üstel said, ”We have brought the Ercan Airport to the TRNC, which has been waiting for years to be completed and built as an example to the world, which was thought to never end. With the completion of the airport, there has been a great increase in the number of tourists coming to our country. While 2 million 457 thousand 97 passengers used the old Ercan Airport in the first 8 months of 2023, the number of tourists increased to 3 million 48 thousand 615 in the same period of 2024 with the opening of the new Ercan Airport.’.
THE OUTCOME OF THE CONGRESS IS CLEAR
Speaking on the September 21 UBP congress, Üstel said,” The assembly is over. As can be seen from the interest shown by the people of Değirmenlik, as in other regions, the result of this congress is clear. September 21 is the feast of UBP. The congresses are the feast of democracy of UBP‘.
Noting that he has frequently visited every corner of the country since the first day he took office, Üstel said, ”No matter how busy the government works, we have visited our people and our party members. In every visit and meeting, we see that we are getting closer to each other. This gives us strength. With this strength, we will continue on our way with power and stability until 2027. Our unity and solidarity is our strength. Everyone should know that the UBP aspires to power again in 2027 with all its strength,” he concluded his words.
